About The Opportunity

They are now looking for a Case Manager to work in their therapeutic community program at Solaris, delivered within the ACT corrections facility. Solaris is a modified therapeutic program working with participants to address their alcohol and other drug dependence, having a particular focus on its connection with crime.

There is the potential to earn $59,800 - $66,229 per annum Pro Rata + Super + Fringe Benefits | This is a part-time role offering 60.8 hours per fortnight but our client would consider full-time hours for the right candidate. 

You will utilise practice guidelines, participate in program delivery and development, participate in community meetings, and facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups such as anger management and relapse prevention. You will be responsible for preparing case notes and treatment plans, produce a range of reports, maintain client records, participate in staff meetings and assist with general office and driving duties. This position involves working within a correctional facility.

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Solid experience in casework, case management and therapeutic interventions
  • Experience facilitating groups and one-to-one sessions
  • Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs or equivalent
  • WWVP clearance and a current drivers licence
  • Strong computer literacy and excellent time management skills 
  • Proven skills in record keeping, report writing, filing, word and data processing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
